Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is the latest game from Infinity Ward released on November 10.2009

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (previously marketed as simply Modern Warfare 2) is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The game was officially announced on February 11, 2009. It is the sixth installment of the Call of Duty series, and the direct sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, continuing along the same storyline.

Status: Fully playable (what was tested)

Note:
I am running an hackintosh/Osx86 Machine

-  512 Mb Nvidia 9400 GT

- Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS

- Snow Leopard Retail 10.6.2 64 Bit

I was able to run the game at 1920 x 1200 and max settings

Mac OS X 10.5.7 (As stated by info.plist & Warhammer online)
(Mac version requirements not posted – they will be different than Cider)

512 MB (768 MB for Vista)
8 GB of free space
Nvidia GeForce 6600 (128 MB) or ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (128 MB)

Recommended:
2.4 GHz dual-core
1024 MB RAM (2048 MB for Vista)
Nvidia GeForce 7800 or ATI Radeon X1800[10]

NOTES (By The Porter):

I installed it on a German OS – so you need to edit the following:
right click on Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 2.app/ show contents
edit info.plist edit: c:\Programme\.. to c:\Program Files if you installed on a us/english version

copy your “Activision” folder to Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 2.app/Contents\Resources\transgaming\c_drive\Program Files or Programme if you installed on a German Windows and keep info.plist as is …

What was tested so far:
Single Player – works
Special Ops – works
it also tries to connect online – but I dont have a cd key to test it … so doubt Multiplay is working

How To :
GAME WORKS PERFECTLY!
SKIDROW CRACK (RAZOR DIDN’T WORK FOR ME) FOR THOSE WHO NEED STEP BY STEP GUIDANCE
1. Unpack downloaded files with latest version of UnrarX, you’ll get 2 ISO.
2. Install this games in Windows (me use Win 7 to test) with Bootcamp or Dual Booting in Osx86
3. Then apply SKIDROW crack : http://rapidshare.com/files/305275291/CODMW2PCSKIDROW.rar
Be careful when you replace original files with files from crack folder, especially with folder “zone”. Original folder “zone” has tons of files needed for the game, but the cracked one has only 4 files… so don’t replace folder, just replace these 4 files, otherwise later you’ll get an error message while trying to run the game.
5. Now you can enter to your Macintosh, unpack the provided wrapper (call of duty Modern Warfare 2 application file)

and place it in Application Folder on your Mac.
6. right click (or option click) on COD MW2 application, choose “show package content”
Then click on “Contents” >> you’ll see info.plist. Open it with TextEdit and replace Programme with Program Files (twice).Save it.
7. Then Click on Resources folder >> transgaming >> c_drive >> Program Files >>… keep it open
8. Now open Windows drive (where we installed the game), go to Program Files and locate your Call of Duty MW2 folder. Copy entire folder and place it in the Program Files folder in your wrapper (look at #7)
9. This is it… You’re good to play the game…

P.S. One more thing… when you edit info.plist in your wrapper it has two lines mentioning the path to the game in Program Files folder. Make sure the are identical and for example if your game located at Program Files >> Call of Duty… but info.plist has a string saying it is in Program Files >> Activision >> Call of Duty, then you won’t be able to run the game. In this case do some manual editing to info.plist file.
